Helena Health Care
Helenans enjoy excellent and expanding health care. Helenans are served by over 125 high quality doctors and dentists.
Health care in Helena is in some of the finest hands in the country. Our doctors and nurses hail from
some pretty big name medical schools and hospitals. Many left big city practices all across the country to settle here. Helenans reap
the benefits. Excellent quality doctors, nurses, and dentists staff our local offices and larger medical facilities. Anchored by St. Peter's Community Hospital, Helena's health care network
has undergone very recent and rapid expansion. The Saint Peter's Community Hospital campus recently expanded to include two new medical specialty buildings, the Maria Dean Medical Building and the
Helena Orthopaedic Clinic
The Maria Dean Medical Building pictured at right houses several medical specialty offices.
Opened in 1999, Maria Dean hosts several specialists whose areas of practice include: pulmonology, gastroenterology, and neurology. You can learn more about the Maria Dean's medical
offices by visiting the Helena Health Care website.
The Helena Orthopaedic Clinic facility opened in 1999 also. Most of this facility is dedicated to orthopedic surgical
and treatment facilities. There are currently six orthopedic surgeons practicing within the clinic. In addition, the clinic also hosts St. Peter's SurgiCenter, an outpatient
surgical clinic. This clinic provides outpatient "Same Day" surgical services for patient convenience. St. Peter's retains two of the surgical facilities inside the Orthopaedic for these outpatient
services.
There are numerous other clinics and offices scattered around town. The Leo Pocha Clinic, operated and funded by the Helena Indian Alliance has been recognized several times for
providing some of the highest quality health care in the Federal Indian health care system.
